Are you a court reporter looking for a second set of eyes to help you present your best work? If so, I am here to help you
accomplish that! My goal is to not only provide reliable and thorough results to help you shine but also to save you time and
energy to focus on what you do best.
With a 20-plus-year career as a customer service and administrative professional, I understand the importance of working together with clients to achieve common goals. Additionally, with a keen eye for detail and ability to detect errors and omissions, I can support you in your objective to produce excellent transcripts and meet your deadlines.
Having successfully completed the comprehensive course Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice, I have experience reading thousands of pages of transcripts, including depositions, hearings, and trials, and I have familiarity with medical, legal, and technical terminology. I proofread according to Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters, Court Reporting: Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation by Margie Wakeman Wells, The Gregg Reference Manual, and Merriam-Webster. I am also happy to work with your individual preferences.

Standard turnaround is for business days (Monday - Friday) and hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time). Transcripts
received after 6:00 PM will be considered received at 9:00 AM the following business day.
Please let me know ASAP if you have a rush job so that I can make sure I am available and plan for it accordingly.
I reserve the right to charge extra for rough/messy transcripts. Errors in these types of transcripts are more difficult to find and therefore require more time, which makes it harder for me to return it to you in a timely manner.
I proofread and return annotated pages in PDF format. Please submit final job to me as a PDF. If you do not have a PDF printer, you can download a free one at www.cutepdf.com.
If a job is larger than 100 pages, please send it to me in segments so that I can work on a portion of it while you are working on a portion at the same time.
I email invoices on the first of each month, and payment is expected within 30 days of receipt. Late payments will incur a 10% late fee.
